三、【重点语法解析】

可数名词和不可数名词名词按其所表示的事物的性质分为可数名词和不可数名词。

（1）可数名词：可以用数量计数的名词。它又可以分为单数和复数两种形式。   

可数名词作主语时，谓语动词与主语单复数保持一致；

（2）不可数名词：不可以用数字一个一个数出来的名词。如：water  information  paper  news  bread

特点：a.通常没有复数形式。

b.作主语时，谓语动词要用单数形式。

c.不能直接用a/an和指示代词this，that，these，those修饰。

d.不能用基数词修饰。

e.可用 some，any，a little，a lot of，lots of，much等形容词修饰。

f.表量时，用“基数词＋量词(单位名词)＋of 短语”表达

例如：a piece of news     一条新闻    a cup of tea     一杯茶  a glass of water 一杯水

a bottle of orange 一瓶橘汁  a piece of paper    一张纸  a slice of bread   一片面包

注意：1). 用“数词或冠词＋量词＋of＋不可数名词”这样的结构来表示

量词可以是单数也可以是复数，但of后面的名词只能用单数。

例如：汉译英：请给我来一杯茶。I’d like a cup of tea

请递给我三张纸。Pass me three pieces of paper.

2). ①有些名词既可作可数名词又可作不可数名词，但意义不同，要注意区分。

glass cn. 杯子     un. 玻璃         orange  cn 橘子 un. 橘汁 

②还有表示动物类的名词，表示动物时是可数名词，作为菜肴时是不可数名词。

chicken cn. 小鸡  un. 鸡肉           fish  cn.鱼 un. 鱼肉

【重点语法解析】名词的所有格:表示人或物品的所有关系、所属关系。

所有格有两种形式：

一种是-’s格，即在名词后面加-’s，多用来修饰有生命的东西；

另一种是of格，即在介词of后面加名词，多用来修饰没有生命的东西。

注意：有些表示时间、距离等无生命的名词，也可以在词尾加’s或“ ’ ”

例：five minutes’ walk 五分钟的路程 today’s newspaper 今天的报纸
