tell的语法

1. speak用法

可以是及物动词，后边加语言，也可以是不及物动词。

1）意思是“说”，后加表示语言类的词，如：

speak English 说英语

speak a foreign language 说一门外语

2）意思是“说话”，表示说话的能力，是不及物动词，后不能直接加宾语。如：

The baby can speak now.

这个婴儿现在能说话。

3）意思是“演讲，发言，讲话”，是不及物动词。如：

I spoke at the meeting yesterday.

我昨天在会议上发言了。

4）speak to sb. 和某人说话。如：

Can I speak to Mary?

我能和Mary说话吗？

2. tell用法

是及物动词。

1）意思是“讲述”。如：

tell stories/ a  story to sb.给某人讲故事

tell sb. stories/ a story给某人讲故事

2）意思是“告诉”。如：tell sth. to sb.把某事告诉某人

tell sb. sth.告诉某人某事

tell sb. to do告诉某人做某事

tell sb. not to do告诉某人不做某事

3）可构成其它短语：

tell a lie = tell lies说谎

tell the truth说实话

3. talk用法

是不及物动词。可以作为名词用。这里只讲动词用法。

1）talk to sb.和某人谈话，指一方找另一方谈话，含有责备的意思。如：

My teacher often talks to us.

我的老师经常找我们谈话。

2）talk with sb.和某人交谈。侧重于双方相互交谈。如：

She is talking with her classmates happily.

她正在愉快地和她的同学们交谈。

3）talk about sb./ sth.谈论关于某人或某物。如：

We are talking about our study.

我们正在谈论我们的学习。

4）= speak，意思是演讲，讲话，发言。如：

I talked at the meeting yesterday.

我昨天在会议上发言了。

5）= speak,意思是说话，表示说话的能力。

The baby can talk now.

这个婴儿现在能说话。

6）n.演讲，讲话。如：

give a talk = have a talk讲话，演讲

4. say用法

say是一个及物动词，意思是说。

1）say后可以加一个宾语从句。如：

She often says she is an honest girl.

她经常说她是一个诚实的女孩。

2）say to sb.对某人说，后边经常加带引号的句子。如：

He said to me, “Please give me a pen.”

他对我说：“请给我一只钢笔。”

3）can’t say a word说不出一个字。如：

I was so excited that I couldn’t say a word.

我太激动了以至于说不出一个字。

4）say sth. to sb.对某人说……。如：

say hello to me

向我问好

say sorry to him

向他道歉

say goodbye to us

和我们道别

5）通常可以表达牌子上写着什么，或门上写着什么等等。如：

It said, “ Don’t touch the photo!”

上面写着：“不要摸照片。”

6）It’s said (that) +句子，据说……。如：

It’s said that this kind of machine is made inJapan.

据说这种机器产自日本。
