对话：
A: Chicken pox? That's the emergency?
（水痘？那是紧急事件？）
B: They're totally contagious.
（水痘是会传染的。）
A: Not to us.
（不会传给我们啊。）
B: They are to me! I've never had it.
（会传给我啊！我没得过水痘。）
A: Well, you never told me that.
（这你可从来没告诉过我。）
B: You know, the point is, I can't go in there. It's a hot zone.
（重点是，我不能进去。那是危险地带。）
例子：

用法三：
Point 指，指向 [verb]

对话：
A: This compass does not point north.
（这个罗盘不会指向北面。）
B: Where does it point?
（那它指向哪里？）
A: It points to the thing you want most in this world.
（它会指向这世上你最想要的东西。）
例子：

2. The road sign points left.
这路标指向左边。
用法四：
Point 目的，意义 [noun]
A Dog's Purpose《一条狗的使命》
对话：
A: Humans are complicated. They do things dogs can't understand. Like leave. Ethan and I were meant to be together. But if there was no Ethan, what was the point of my being here? Maybe the point was not to look for a point.

用法五：
Point 地方，地点 [noun]

对话：
A: This is the rendezvous point. The strike team is late. Where are they?
（这里就是会和地点。突击队来晚了。他们在哪里？）
B: There's movement in the house behind you. Upstairs window.
（你背后房子里有人。上面的窗口。）
例子：
1. This is a good point for picnic.

用法六：
Point 时刻，时间，阶段 [noun]

对话：
A: That was fucking weird.
（那真的很奇怪。）
B: At this point, it would be fucking weird if he didn't do something that was fucking weird.
（这种时候，如果他没做什么奇怪的事，那才叫奇怪。）
例子：
1. At this point, she arrived.
就在此时，她来了。
2. From that point on, I haven't seen her again.
从那时候起，我再也没见过她了。
