Good morning, respected professors. It is a great honor to be shortlisted for this interview. My name is Li Ming(姓名). I am 23 (年龄） years old from Shijiazhang(家乡), the capital of Hebei province.
In the year of 2017, I entered Capital Normal University(本科院校), majoring in Education(本科专业). Generally speaking, I have been diligent in my undergraduate studies. Over four years of college life, I have made progress both academically and personally. In English, I passed the College English Test Band of level 4 and 6(证书). At the same time, I was granted scholarships(获奖/奖学金) three years in a row.
In addition to my academics, I have actively participated in various extracurricular activities, such as speech contests and sports meets(课外活动). Besides, what impressed me most was my volunteering English-teaching experience at the New Hope Primary School, which has taught me how to interact with people and effectively cooperate alongside others. This rewarding experience has definitely made me a better person and made me even more determined in pursuing further in Education(报考专业) as a postgraduate student.
Despite the fact that I have learned my major for four years, my knowledge of this field is still at a superficial level, which is why I decided to further study in Education.
