这个表示“在”的介词们，真的就是很多同学在说话或写作的时候，常常纠结的一个大问题啦！“在哪里”，“在什么时候”，貌似用哪个介词都可以啊...可是为什么还是常常会被老师纠错呢？
好吧, 今天一起来一次性搞清楚这三个介词（at、in、 on）的关系。

今天这篇我们先来说地点的用法（preposition of place地点介词），也就是“在哪里”
1.第一个我们说说“in”，请看以下例句：
The clothes are in the closet 衣服在衣柜里
He is in the kitchen 他在厨房里
She is lying in bed 她躺在床上
There was a fire in the fireplace, and she was sitting in the airchair. 壁炉里生了火，她坐在沙发上 （好惬意,羡慕T^T）
There is a shark in the water 水里有鲨鱼
It was written in the newspaper 它被写在了报纸里
Chili is a country in South America. 智利是南美洲的一个国家
有总结到规律了吗？
in 我们会用 in 来表示“在某个地方里”, （We use “in” when talking about a position inside something else.）

2.第二个是“on”，按照国际惯例还是来看一下这堆例句啦！
There is a mirror on the wall 墙上有一面镜子
The is a stain on his T-shirt 他的T恤上有一块污渍
The books are on the shelves 书在书架上
He puts plates on the table 他把盘子放到桌子上
There is one candle on the cake 蛋糕上有一根蜡烛
He likes riding on his bike 他骑着他的自行车

on 我们用“on”来表示一些有实际接触或者触碰到的“在哪里”，（we use “on” when one thing is attached to or touching another thing）

3. at 第三个是“at”，
说道at，大概有什么例子第一个出现在你的脑海里呢？
比如有人问你：“Where are you？” 你会怎么回答呢？
好多人可能是会回答 “ in home” ，但是其实不对的，按照我们的思路，到这里了肯定要说“ at home” 啦！为什么呢？看看下面这堆例句感受一下：
He is at the restaurant 他在餐厅
He is at home 他在家
She is at office 她在办公室
They met at party 他们在派对上相遇
He is sitting at the corner 他坐在角落
They are sitting at the table 他们坐在桌子边上
He isstanding at the window 他站在窗户边上
有总结到规律了吗？
at 我们用“at”来表示什么东西“在哪儿”，并不体现具体的方位 （We use at to show where something is, it doesn't tell us whether it is beside, inside, below or above, it just shows where)
PS：但在表示具体到门牌号的地址时，可以用”at“，请看这条来自国外网站的权威例句：
The building, at 12 East 63rd Street, dates from justafter the Civil War, but inthe 1950s the facade was covered with white brick.
这幢坐落于（纽约）63号街东12号的建筑，其历史可上溯自内战刚结束时，但在50年代，它的正面被覆盖上了一层白砖。
