一、Use

 

use	词性	例句
	n.用；使用；用途	She will have the use of the car one night a week. 她每周可以有一个晚上使用这辆车。
	vt. 利用；耗费 vi. 使用，运用	May I use your dictionary? 我可以用一下你的字典吗?

 

 

二、use相关的词组

 

1）used to do：意为"过去常常；过去常常做某事 "。表示过去习惯性的动作或状态，但如今已不存在。

 

例句：I remember how he used to run up to me... 我记得他过去常常向我跑来的样子…….

 I used to play football after school.过去我常常在放学后踢球.

 

 

2）be used to do：意为”被用来做；被用于“

 

例句：But his evidence can also be used to tell a related story.

但是，他的证据也可以用来讲述一个相关的故事。

 

 

3）be used for：意为”被用作；用于；被用于做某事“

 

例句：Aluminum foil can be used for wrapping food.   铝箔用于包装食物。

 

 

4）①sth be useful to sb：意为“某事对于某人是有用的”

 

例句：This book is useful to you。这本书对你是有用的

 

②it is useful for sb to do sth ：意为”对于某人来说做某事是有用的“

例句：It is useful for you to read this book。对于你来说读这本书是有用的

 

 

5）be used to + doing（或名词）： 意为“对……已感到习惯”，或"习惯于"，to是介词，后需加名词或动名词。

 

例句：He is used to a vegetarian diet.  他习惯吃素。

Scarf is used to taking a walk.(现在习惯于散步)

 

6）be used doing sth：意为”被用来做某事“，

 

例：Reading or deleting spam takes time - time that could be used doing something else.
