Most of us enjoy vacation, yet it is quite a necessity for us to make a thought-through vacation plan beforehand.

 

In order to make a vacation all you want it to be, you must first ask yourself: ‘Why am I taking it?’ Remember to be honest with the answer, for it is the start of planning your perfect vacation. Once you’ve decided why you’re going, you can research the various ways to visit. If you just want to stay and relax at your destination, a guided tour might be your best bet. On the other hand, if you’re most fascinated by a specific aspect of your destination, then that aspect should be your priority of planning the vacation.

 

Of course, there are far more things we need to get prepared, among which a research of those who have done the vacation at your destination is strongly recommended.

（一）审题立意

根据题目说明，本篇作文是一篇以说明为主的、议论为辅的阐释性文章，侧重点要放在如何做到旅行愉快的方法或建议的介绍上。

（二）谋篇布局

第一段可简单指出提前做好旅行规划的必要性。

第二段侧重描述如何确保旅行愉快的方法或建议。

第三段可继续提出更多的方法或建议，但要简而略写。

（三）遣词造句

在做好谋篇布局之后，接下来需要注意的就是如何遣词造句。

1、第一段指出提前做好旅行规划的必要性

开篇以yet引导的并列句，引出旅行规划的必要性。其中it is quite a necessity for sb. to do sth.可以作为固定句型，用于表达做某事的必要性。

2、第二段提出旅行规划的方法或建议

首先，通过in order to make a vacation...来起到承上启下的过渡，然后提出第一个建议，即首先要弄清楚自己旅行的目的或初衷到底是什么，并且通过for引导的并列句，给出了如此做法的原因解释。

 

确定了旅行目的之后，通过once you have decided...的结构，引出下一步规划，即选择什么样的旅行方式（research and choose the ways to travel）。接着，就从跟团游（guided tour）和自由行（self-guided tour）两个主要旅行方式进行了推荐说明；其中，作者通过两个if来说明这两种旅行方式的目的前提，并且通过on the other hand来过渡对比两种方式。

注意sth. should be your priority of doing sth.的运用，主要用来表达在做某事时你需要优先考虑的事情是什么。

3、第三段补充更多方法或建议

第三段以Of course开头，实际起到的是让步的作用，由此来引出实际有更多旅行时需要注意的问题。接着，作者通过among which引导的非限定性定语从句，给出更多建议，即查询旅行攻略。

（四）修辞润色

第一段中开门见山引出主题vacation，其中“Most of us enjoy..., yet...”可以作为套话，用于其他主题文章的开头引入手段。it is quite a necessity for sb. to do sth.也可以改为it is fairly necessary for sb. to do sth.。此外，thought-through（深思熟虑的）也可以改为well-planned，但前后文要做微调，比如：Most of us enjoy vacation, yet it is fairly necessary for us to make a well-planned vacation.

第二段中要注意“Remember to be honest with the answer, for...”的结构运用，可以用来表达对某个问题的回答时需要注意什么以及为什么。此外，要注意one's best bet的运用，用来表达“最佳办法；最佳选择”，相当于best way或best choice。

第三段中要注意运用among which ... is strongly recommended引导的非限定性定语从句，用来表达在某些内容当中，强烈推荐的内容是什么。
