I am honored to have your presence here today. Do you do chores very often? As for me, labor is more than that.
Last weekend, I actively participated in the community service with my classmates. As scheduled, we arrived at the elderly caring center in the early morning, where we helped mop the floor, dust the furniture and clean the windows. After that, we made dumplings with them while chatting happily. 
Tired as I was, it was rewarding to see their smiles. Not only did I bring joy to them, but also I found confidence in keeping them company. As we all know, labor is the most glorious. Let’s enjoy laboring, which surely benefits us in the long run and helps us grow.

I’m honored to have your presence here today. As we all know, nothing can be attached more significant to than labour. Today I’m here to deliver my speech, sharing my unforgetable labor experience with you.

Last Saturday, I headed for the farm in the countryside to experience labor deeply. To start with, I made a basket out of fiber strings, which was capable to contain ample fruits. Before setting out to pick fruits, I got some practical suggestions from experienced locals. When picking the fruits, I had to put up with not merely the high temperature but the annoying mosquitoes. But anyhow, what made me really content was the countless fruits in my basket which consisted of my devotion and labor.

During my experience, I was entirely convinced that only in ways of labour and diligence can we live a fabulous life. It has been universally reckoned that labour is the most glorious, which I would like to put more emphasize on. Only with labour can we achieve our targets as well as construct a prosperous country. Thanks for your listening.

 

Passage 2

 

Today, our class had an unparalleled chance to attend an interesting and unique fruit and vegetables picking activity on a modern farm where various and abundant fresh organic vegetables and fruits were cultivated, allowing us to experience the joy of picking vegetables in person and learn more about organic vegetables and fruits.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the farmers, who hurriedly took us to a large patch filled with diverse fruits and vegetables. Guided by skilled framers, we soon began our picking with a bucket in our hands. Some picked tomatoes, eggplant, cucumber and the others was assigned to pick apples, pears and strawberries. We stooped down, and inched forward as we were hunting for the biggest, reddest and the freshest fruits and vegetables. After two hours’ hard work, we harvested a lot. What struck me most was that we cooked the vegetables together, which was a huge feast.

Tired as we were,we us enjoyed this rewarding and instructive picking activity, for not only can we have a brief understanding of modern farming, but also we experienced the joy of labor and were inspired to treasure food in our daily life.
