Read Aloud是一个Speaking/Reading交叉给分题，

首先我们要明白这个题的评分原则：

 

Read Aloud	Speaking	Fluency pronunciation
	Reading	Pause Stress Intonation

Fluency: 

由于这是唯一的一个需要断句的口语题，所以我们在读的时候千万不能说的太快或是没有停顿。同时，也不能过于频繁断句！因为过多在不需要断句的地方停顿，整体会显得非常不流畅，也会影响fluency得分！！

 

Pronunciation:

很多考生最容易犯错的地方就是元音发错，吞音这两类问题！！

 

Pause（断句）：

简单来说呢，在从句前，或是一个完整意群结束后需要断句！因为系统评分的方法是将考生的录音和系统已经准备好的标答录音（native speakers），所以断句正确意味着考生真正理解了一段文字，所以这会影响reading得分！

 

Stress（重读）：

一般来说，在一句话中具有重要意义的字眼需要我们重读来强调！比如表程度和逻辑的副词，mainly, absolutely, hardly etc. 还有一句话中重要的名词（一段话里的最重要topic).

 

Intonation（升降调）：

一般来说遇到并列结构（A, B and C）我们绝对要注意语音语调的变化！A和B部分要语调上扬，C部分则要语调降下去！！

 

下面以一段文字为例：

例子1：

Yellow is the most optimistic colour, yet surprisingly, people lose their tempers most often in yellow rooms and babies cry more in them. The reason may be that yellow is the hardest colour on the eye. On the other hand, it speeds metabolism and enhances concentration; think of yellow legal pads and post-it notes.

 

* 除了逗号、句号需要断句外，第二行in yellow rooms 之后需要短暂断句一下！

* The reason may be 后面需要短暂断句，因为后面引导了一个宾语从句。

* concentration后面有个分号，也需要短暂断句。

* most 需要重读，这里强调了程度！

* yet 需要重读，这里强调了逻辑上的关系！

* most often需要重读，这里强调了频率！More 也需要重读，同理。

* hardest 需要重读，这里是个最高比较级！

 

由于这一段并没有并列结构（A, B and C），所以这一段文字没有需要强调语音语调变化的地方。

例子2：

The speaker is a marine biologist who became interested in the Strandlopers, an ancient people who lived on the coastline, because of their connection to the sea. Their way of life intrigued him. As a child he had spent a lot of time by the sea, exploring and collecting things – so he began to study them, and discovered some interesting information about their way of life, how they hunted, what tools they used, and so on.

 

* biologist后面需要断句，因为到此为止是一个完整的意群，后面引导了一个从句。

* 同理ancient people后面需要断句，而且这两个词需要重读，这里强调他们的特点。

* a lot of 需要重读，这里强调了程度。

* things 后面有个破折号，需要断句。

* 最后出现了一个A, B and C并列结构，所以hunted 语调上扬；used 语调上扬；on 语调降下去！！

 

总结：

断句，重读和升降调这3方面提高对Reading得分的提高会有很大的帮助！！特别是目标定在79分的童鞋们，保证了fluency， pronunciation还不够，这3方面才是助你8炸的核心要素！！
