[英语翻译]英汉：与此夜相伴随

Acquainted with the Night

I have been one acquainted with the night ——— 我独、我独与此夜相伴随

I have walked out in rain -- and back in rain ———— 我雨中步出，雨中回返

I have outwalked the furthest city light ———— 我一直走出城市边缘的星辉

I have looked down the saddest city lane ———— 我望进那阴森森的胡同

I have passed by the watchman on his beat ———— 我走过守夜人的身旁

And dropped my eyes unwilling to explain ———— 目光低垂无心释问

读完这首诗，眼前立刻浮现出了大学时一个人冒雨跑步的背影，愿我与今夜永相随。

 

标题中acquainted with,一般的用法是be acquainted with sb./sth.对某物很熟悉很了解，我对黑夜足够了解，恰恰说明我经常黑夜独行；

 

第一句的中文“我独、我独”并非翻译错误，相传作者在朗诵该句时在I have been one处稍有停顿，翻译两次我独也更能体现出此时心境的忧郁；

 

之后对孤独的描写更是栩栩如生，此处我深有同感：

walk out in rain and back in rain, outwalk the furthest city light。

上周六晚出去跑步，突然想走一条自己从没有走过的路，下定决心我一路往前，竟然真的跑到了路的尽头，看着月亮，它格外的皎洁。

 

这首诗中稍稍给人安慰的就是watchman守夜人了，雨夜外出还有人询问，似乎给此处的孤独增添了一点陪伴。只可惜你不是我期待的人，所以也只能unwilling to explain。

我期待一个声音，停驻不前，却发现那不是我的期待。

抬头仰望那一轮明月，时间又有什么对错呢？

过去、现在、将来，孤独又有什么对错呢？

如果说时间是唯一没有对错的东西，

那请你不要带走月亮，

黑夜之中，你我相伴，谈何孤独？！
