万万没想到,一个特别优秀的学生课后跑来跟我说,他看到这样的作文的想法是:这样的作文居然可以得13分~不都是套话吗?broaden one’s horizons/a visual feast/have a deeper insight into…

我想我首先都多读一些这样的外刊文章,expose myself to genuine expressions and take notes and try to use them

比如在写各种展览的时候,

In this exhibit, we chose to represent bacteria and viruses that have impacts on our local wildlife. These microbes are both beneficial and detrimental to their hosts, and we hope the artworks on display here inspire you to take a closer look at the mysterious world of microbes.

The National Museum of Wildlife Art is dedicated to displaying student art in a professional setting, and we are proud to partner with young artists from Jackson Hole High School on this exhibit.

The exhibition presented more than 100 photos featuring oral traditions, traditional music, dance and theatre, social practices, rituals and festivals, as well as traditional knowledge and skills that communities and groups around the world receive from their ancestors and pass on to their descendants. The photos featured the 90 Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity proclaimed by UNESCO between 2001 and 2005 as well as other recent initiatives supported by UNESCO for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage.

The campaign aims to gather a wide selection of artefacts and personal objects which together will provide deep insights into the lives and work of Emirati artisans and their crafts. The history behind the objects themselves is equally important, and the personal and family stories behind each item will be collected from their owners.

promote our intangible heritage, safeguard our traditional practices and handicrafts and foster pride among the younger generations by demonstrating the continued relevance of our past to contemporary life

focus on raising awareness of the UAE’s unique cultural heritage. So much of our rich legacy of traditional crafts and practices is sitting in homes across the country; cherished objects linked to family or personal histories that, through their stories, may be able to shed new light on our collective past. By engaging and involving the community directly, we hope to gather a set of artefacts that tell a deeper, more personal story of traditional Emirati heritage, resulting in an exhibition different to anything House of Artisans has done before

Located in Al Hosn site, alongside Qasr Al Hosn and the Cultural Foundation, the House of Artisans plays a pioneering role in the protection and preservation of traditional heritage and craftsmanship, and actively provides support to local artisans carrying on these traditions. The House of Artisans seeks to increase general awareness of heritage arts and practices and encourages the learning of skills related to these crafts through a year-round schedule of workshops and courses, allowing knowledge and techniques to be safeguarded for future generations.

The essence of agriculture and the ‘salt of the earth’ farmers who work the ʻaina have been captured through portrait explorations by island artists and are the focus of a curated exhibition Ttitled ‘Kona People , Now on display at the Donkey Mill Art Center.

Valerie Corcoran, President of the Kona Coffee Cultural Art Festival, and Island of Hawai’i artist Gerald Walsh III were invited to judge the exhibits and prizes were awarded – in the words of judges – to “works of art that stood out and spoke of the most powerful for us.

Capturing the life and history of Kona farmers through artistic representation is no easy task,” commented Gerald Walsh. “It takes understanding, time and genuine love to embody the spirit of these people.”

Available until December 18, 2021, the portraits reflect a variety of methods and media, from oil paintings to digital media and drawings, to capture farmers, aina and their work.

The exhibition and the book “allow us to disembark in the Mariana Islands, to learn about their history and to become acquainted with their people, their identity, and their cultural diversity,” said Miquel Iceta i Llorens, minister of culture and sport for Spain, in the book’s foreword. “And they provide us with an opportunity to revise the version we have always taken for granted of the history of the archipelago.”

无论是告示还是报道,我找了几篇网络上的真实的文章,可能会让我们拓宽一些写作词汇和思路。
